Tottenham's title hopes suffer setback at Turf Moor

Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon suffered a shock defeat in the hand of Burnley as team as star player, Harry Kane, made his return to the team after missing seven games due to ankle injury, the game ended 2-1 in favour of the host.

Kane on his return made the starting lineup of the day for Tottenham and and got a goal for the visitors in the 65th of the encounter to equalise Chris Wood 57th minute strike for Burnley after the first half ended goalless.
Burnley got the victory of the afternoon when substitute Johann Berg Gudmundsson set up Ashley Barnes for their second goal in the 83rd-minute.

A win for Tottenham Hotspur would have put them 2 points behind Manchester City and Liverpool, which should have kept their title hopes alive.

Nigfooty Sports can also report that Burnley have not tasted any defeat in the league since December 26 and have produced another brilliant efforts today in game week 27.

After 90 minutes, it Burnley 2-1 Tottenham, so it ended at Turf Moor.
