NPFL: Rangers beat Wikki Tourists in Enugu

Rangers International of Enugu on Wednesday defeated Wikki Tourists of Bauchi 2-1 in Match Day 10 encounter at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
Former Super Eagles invitee Michael Uchebo opened scoring for the home team in the 60th minute of the game after the first 45 minutes ended goalless, this will be Uchebo first goal of the season.

In form Rangers International striker Godwin Aguda doubled the lead for Rangers in the 78th minute via a powerful shot.

In the 86th minute, Abba Umar gave the visitors a consolation goal with a great header that first struck the bar before going into the net, reduced the scoreline to 2-1.

Rangers have played 4 matches so far this season and have won 3 of those 4 game, loosing just one.
After 4 games, Rangers are now in 6th position on Group A log with about 6 outstanding matches and Wikki Tourists are in 8th position on the same log after 8 games.

After 90 minutes, it Rangers International 2-1 Wikki Tourists, so it ended at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
