La Liga giants, Real Madrid, were handed a shock defeat on Sunday evening in game week 24 against Girona, the game ended 2-1.
Madrid took the lead 25 minutes into the first half via a bullet header from Carlos Henrique Casimiro, thanks to Toni Kroos for the assist. The first half ended 1-0 in favour of the host.

A handball from Sergio Ramos inside his own 18-yard-box in the 64th minute earned Girona a penalty kick, Cristhian Stuani took the kick for Girona, sending Courtois to a wrong direction to restore parity to Eusebio Sacristán led side.
With 15 minutes on the clock, Lozano fired a shot at Courtois that the keeper parried to the side, a quick follow-up from 26-year-old Cristian Portu helped him to nudged the ball into the net to give Girona the lead for the first time in the shocking encounter and also sealed the victory for the visitors.
After 90 minutes, it Real Madrid 1-2 Girona, so it ended at the Santiago Bernabéu.
