Rangers of Enugu on Wednesday night played a 1-1 draw with Tunisia Giants Sfaxien in a CAF Confederation Cup game at Stade Taïeb Mhiri Stadium in Tunisia.
Sfaxien went ahead in the 71sts minute via a great goal from Alaa Marzouki after the first half ended goalless, two minutes later Senegal 34-year-old defender Pape Ousmane Sane got the equaliser for Rangers International of Enugu. Though Sfaxien were better in ball possession but Rangers were able to stop them.
Rangers now top group B with 4points ahead of Sfaxien who also have 4points, but are second based on goal difference. Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia and Salitas of Burkina Faso are third and fourth respectively with 1point each.
After the entire game, it Sfaxien 1-1 Rangers International, so it ended in Tunisia.
