Former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been appointed as the new manager of Leicester City, he succeeded Claude Puel who was fired some days ago.
The Celtic coach signed a deal that will last until June 2022. Leicester City fired Claude Puel after Sunday 4-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace.
Rodgers resumed talks with City on Tuesday after Celtic gave him permission to travel to England to discuss the deal.
The 46-year-old has expressed his readiness to give his best to the team, "I'm very privileged and honoured to be here as Leicester City manager and I'll give my life to make the supporters proud of their club."
"Together, we'll be stronger and I'm looking forward to working with the players, staff and supporters to make the steps forward," Rodgers said.
Rodgers led Swansea from the Championship into Premier League in 2011 and also managed Liverpool in 2012.
