The 2019 Asian Cup ended incredibly with underdogs emerging as the Champions of the biggest Asian Football Tournament.
Goals from Almoez Ali, Abdulaziz Hatem and Akram Afif in the 12th, 27th and 83rd minute respectively made the difference at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. A goal from Japan's Takumi Minamino in the 69th minute of the thrilling encounter was not enough to get the Japanese back into the game.
Qatar took the lead in the first 12minutes of the game and doubled their lead in the 27th minute, the first half ended 2-0 with Qatar leading on the scoresheet.
The second half began with Japan getting the first goal of the half in the 69th minute, but Incredible Qatar cancelled the goal with a converted spot kick. Qatar held Japan until the end of the 90th minute as the scoreline remained 3-1 in favour of underdogs Qatar.
After the entire game time, it Japan 1-3 Qatar, so it ended at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Qatar are the Champion of Asia at Senior level.
