Rainy Africa Player of the Year and 2017/2018 season English Premier League highest goal scorer Mohamed Salah alongside his Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane and Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been shortlisted in the final top three that will battle for the Africa Player of the Year Award.
Mohamed Salah will hope to win the award for the second time following his performance for Liverpool and his national team for the year in view. The Egyptian was the English Premier League highest goal scorer for the 2017/2018 season and for the ongoing season he has scored 13 goals for Liverpool, putting him in contention for the golden Boot award once again.
On the other hand, Sadio Mane has become one of the most important player for his club and helped his national team Senegal to get the 2018 World Cup Ticket and also the 2019 Summer AFCON ticket.
Arsenal Striker Aubameyang has also been one of the key players for Arsenal for the year in view, he has scored 14 goals for his club in the ongoing season though has not been able to do much for his national team Gabon but his club performance might crowned him as Africa King.
The Award gala night will be held in Dakar, Senegal on January 8.
