Revived Manchester United team stunned Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium on Sunday evening. The game full of expectations started on a high note with both team dictating the pace of the game, but non could get to the back of the net until the 44th minute of the encounter when Marcus Rashford successfully connected to Paul Pogba's long pass to beat Hugo Lloris with a well-placed shot to give Manchester United the lead.
The first half ended 1-0 in favour of the visitors. The second half started with Tottenham Hotspur seeking to restore parity to themselves but the London based team were denied severally by Manchester United Goalkeeper David Degea who pulled a total of eleven saves in the game. All effort by Manchester United to also double their lead were as well denied by Hugo Lloris.
The second half of the encounter ended with no goal, but a first half strike from Marcus Rashford made the difference. After 90 minutes, it Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 Manchester United, so it ended at the Wembley Stadium.
It is another great performance from Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær who has remained unbeaten since joining the team as the head coach.
