Pre-Season Friendly: MAO Football Club defeated IRA FC of Offa

MAO football club surpassed his opponent on Thursday in his first season friendly.

The team played his first season friendly to test the agility of the players still present for the club screening exercise, the screening exercise which continue till next week made the management of the club to decide playing friendly to select those the best legs team and drop some other players.
The friendly was played against IRA Football Club of OFFA which ended in favour of MAO Football Club 2 goals to 1, thanks to the two first half goals scored by Taiwo and Lekan before the visitor reduce the score line in the second half but was not enough to bring them back into the match and the game ended 2-1 in favour of MAO FC.

According to the club president Mr Horlawale Horladosu MAO, he said more friendly matches will still be played to show how serious and capable the guys are and how they can deliver for the club this season and to allow him drop some players who might not meet up the club strategy and pattern.

He urges the guys to do more as the sky is their limit and their future is much bright. He as well appreciated the fans and crew of the club for the first success and never to relent.
