Kgatlana, Ordega and Oshoala makes CAF final three

Confederation of Africa Football CAF have released the name of three finalists that will battle for the AFRICA WOMEN'S PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2018 AWARD.
The players made the final three base on their exploits for their various club and country for the year in view, the players are; Kgatlana from South Africa, Fransisca Ordega and Asisat Oshoala both from Nigeria.

Asisat Oshoala is the current holders of the award and has won the award three times, in 2014, 2016 and 2017 respectively, she's is also in contention for the prestigious award in 2018 to equal Perpetual Nkwocha record, the former Nigeria Captain won the award in 2004, 2005, 2010 and 2011 respectively for a record four times. Though the 24-year-old Asisat did not perform up to expectation in the Africa Women Nations Cup, nevertheless she was instrumental to her team victory in 2018 Women AFCON.

25-year-old Francisca Ordega is another Nigerian on the list, she's has been fantastic at club level and her pacy moves from the wings during 2018 AFCON tournament is what every soccer fans will never forget.
Thembi Kgatlana is the third player on the list and she's looking likely to win the award. The 22-year-old forward was at her best in Ghana 2018 bagging both player of the tournament and top scorer awards. She also helped her team to the final of the tournament where they lost to Nigeria on penalties.

The award presentation night will be held in Dakar, Senegal on January 8.
