Tottenham failed Arsenal Test at the Emirates
Tottenham Hotspur failed Arsenal Test on Sunday afternoon as they were defeated by 4-2 at the Emirates Stadium.
The game started with a lot of excitements with both team displaying that they are equal to the task, but it was Arsenal that got the first goal from the spot 10 minutes into the first half via Aubameyang who sent Loris to a wrong direction, no thanks to Vertonghen who handled an air ball in his own 18-yard-box.
20 minutes later Eric Dier restored parity to Tottenham with a header following a superb free-kick from Eriksen.
Son Heung-Min controversial fall in the 34th minute earned Harry Kane the second goal for Tottenham from the spot.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 56th minute strike got the second goal for Arsenal, thanks to Aaron Ramsey for the assist.
Lacazette gave Arsenal the lead for the second time in the 74th minute of the encounter as he was able to managed the pass collected from Aaron Ramsey before firing a shot with his left foot and was deflected into Tottenham's net.
Uruguay International Lucas Torreira gave Arsenal a comfortable lead in the 77th minute of the encounter to seal the victory for the Gunners, thanks to Aubameyang for the assist.
Tottenham Vertonghen was sent off in 85th minute following a poor challenge on Lacazette which handed him the second yellow card of the afternoon.
After 90 minutes, it Arsenal 4-2 Tottenham, so it ended at the Emirates Stadium.
