Barcelona scored twice to defeat Villarreal at Camp Nou on Sunday night to keep the hope of defending their La Liga title alive.
Gerard Piqué's header opened scoring for Barcelona in the 36th minute following a well-taking corner kick from Ousmane Dembélé. The first half ended 1-0 in favour of the host.
The second half started with both team looking real in the thrilling encounter, but it was Barcelona who got better in the 87th minute, thanks Carles Aleñà who connected well to Lionel Messi through pass and fling the ball to the back of the net with 3 minutes left on the clock.
After 90 minutes, Barcelona 2-0 Villarreal, so it ended at Camp Nou.
