2019 FIBA World Cup Draw: Date, Venue, Host, Qualified Teams and Others

The World Basketball Governing Body, FIBA have announced Saturday, March 16 for the draw of upcoming 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup that will take place in China. The draw will be held in Shenzhen, one of the host  cities for the the tournament.
This is just more than FIBA Basketball World Cup Draw, as the draw will also witness other events such as performance from world well-known artist, featuring of great sport personalities among others.

32 teams will be participating in the tournament and the procedure for the draw will be announced soon.
18 teams have already gained their qualification, they are; Nigeria, USA, China (host nation), Angola, Canada, Tunisia, Venezuela, Australia, France, Germany, Lithuania, Spain, Korea, Czech Republic, Turkey, New Zealand, Argentina and Greece. The sixth and the final window of the qualifiers is expected to hold from February 18-26 so as to make up the 32-team. 26 countries will be competing in last phase of the qualifiers to fight for the remaining 14 spots.

FIBA Media portal for accreditation will be opened for Journalists from Monday 18th of February to Monday 4th of March. This is for Media Representatives from China and other countries that will be attending the draw.
