The Super Falcons of Nigeria on Saturday walloped Equatorial Guinea and pushed them aside in their last group to set a semi-final clash with the Lioness of Cameroon in the Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON).
A hat-trick from Asisat Oshoala and goals from Francisca Ordega, Desire Oparanozie and Rita Chukwelu were enough to sent the Equatorial Guineans packing.
Nigeria lost their first group game to South Africa before picking the maximum points needed from the remaining two games in Group B.
In the other group game, South Africa and Zambia played a one-all draw, which means South Africa now leads the group with 7 points and Nigeria with 6 points as the group runners-up, while Zambia and Equatorial Guinea are third and fourth respectively.
Nigeria will now face Cameroon on Tuesday 27th November at the Accra Stadium by 4:30pm West Africa Standard Time (same as Nigeria time).
