AWCON 2018: South Africa defeats Mali to face Nigeria in the Final

The Bayana Bayana of South Africa on Tuesday evening defeated Mali National Female Team to book a date with the Super Falcons of Nigeria in Africa Women Cup of Nations final.
The Bayana Bayana put two past the Female Eagles in the thriller encounter. Thembi Kgatlana opened scoring for South Africa in the 31st minute of the game. and the first half ended 1-0 in favour of the South Africans.

In the second half of the encounter, Lebohang Ramalepe got the second goal for the Mandela's girls in the 81st minute to show class over the 85th ranked women team in the world.
After 90 minutes, it was the South Africans dancing, singing and wailing as they have defeated the Les Aiglonnes by 2-0.

South Africa and Nigeria will be representing Africa in the FIFA Women World Cup in France come 2019. In the other Semi-Final game, Nigeria defeated Cameroon 2-4 via penalty shootout.
