The Super Falcons were doing very well in the defence and the midfield, team Captain Onome Ebi and Osinachi Ohale did well to keep the Cameroonians off their Goalkeeper and thanks to Tochukwu Oluehi for those superb saves, not forget Rita Chikwelu and Alymatu Ayinde for their efforts in the midfield, but the Nigerian attack containing Asisat Oshoala, Desire Oparanozie and Francisca Ordega need to do more to relieve their midfielders and defenders of too much work.
Nigeria will now face South Africa in the final of the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations following the victory of the South Africans over Mali in the other semi-final game as Banyan Bayana won by 1-0. Nigeria and South Africa will now represent Africa in the upcoming FIFA Women World Cup that will hold in France come 2019.
