Breaking: Amaju Pinnick emerges as Nigeria Football Federation President for the 2nd time

Depriving all hurds, Amaju Melvin Pinnick has emerged as the Nigeria Football Federation President for the second time. He defeated the likes of Taiwo Ogunjobi, Aminu Maigari and Chinedu Okoye to pilot the affairs of Nigeria Football for the second time.

Recently, power tussle was one of the major problem the outgone  administration faced, as controversial Giwa led board powered by the sports minister Solomon Dalung illegally took over from then administration led by Amaju Melvin Pinnick, though they were not recognized by CAF and FIFA.

The interference of FIFA made them to restored the governance to the rightful administration.

Today in Katsina, the NFF general election was conducted, before the election, the outgoing administration was dissolved to allow voting to take place. The results of the election has declared Amaju Melvin Pinnick the winner of the election for the second time.

Amaju won 34 out of 44 votes to return as the president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

On the other hand, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi has also been elected as NFF 1st Vice President and will be working again with Amaju Pinnick for another 4 years (2018-2022). Akinwunmi had 41 votes ahead of Otunba Dele Ajayi who had 2.
