West Bromwich  Albion on Sunday evening stunned Manchester United at Old Trafford with a 1-0 win, thanks to a lone strike from Burnley born Jay Rodriguez in the 73rd minute of the encounter. The presence of star players such as Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku could not turn things around for United throughout the entire duration of the game.

As a result of the loss at Old Trafford, Manchester City now has 16 points ahead of 2nd place Manchester United, with Liverpool 1 point behind Manchester United. City has now clinched the 2017/2018 English Premier League season title.
