Kayode Olarenwaju scores as Shakhtar progress to final

Nigeria striker Olarenwaju Kayode was on the score sheet as his team Shakhtar Donetsk thrashed Mariupol 5-1 to advance to the final of the Ukraine cup on Wednesday.

Kayode who is making his first start for  Shakhtar Donetsk after his loan move from Premier League Champions Manchester City scored the fourth goal of  the encounter.

Shakhtar took the lead in the 8th minute of the game with a goal from Taison Barcelos while Igor Tyschenko equalised for Mauripol in the 22nd minute.

Marlos Romero put Shakhtar ahead in the 38th minute and Taison getting his second of the night in the 47th minute, Kayode scored in the 74th minute while Ivan Petryak made it five for Shahktar in the 81st minute of the game to advance to the final of the Ukraine Cup.

Kayode has now scored two goals in three games in all competition for Shakhtar who will face Dynamo Kiev in the final on May 9.
