The Super Eagles of Nigeria lost 0-2 to Serbia in a pre world cup friendly at Barnet stadium, Hive London. Super Eagles of Nigeria were handed their first defeat of the year by Serbia in the encounter.
Serbia dominated play from start to finish and Aleksandr Mitovic brace gave them a deserved win against less impressive Eagles.
Militovic had a goal ruled out in the first half after his header had already crossed the line with Uzoho reacting quickly to retrieve the ball but referee Craig Pawson waved play on 0-0 it ended in the first half as super eagles created no meaningful chances.
Militovic put Serbia in the 67th minute after he was left unmarked inside the Nigerian box. He grabbed his brace in the 80th minutes to doubles Serbia lead when he lashed unto a cross after been left unmarked inside the penalty area.
The super eagles were sloppy in possession for the entire duration of the game as Serbia emerged victorious in the encounter.
