Omeruo set to quit Chelsea amid interest from Russia

Finally Super Eagles Kenneth Omeruo set to quit Chelsea with interest from top Russian team Zenit St Petersburg.

The Nigerian International Who joined the English League side Chelsea in 2013 has been sent out on loan on  six different occasions with no first team appearance for Chelsea.

Zenit St Petersburg and Sparta Moscow had earlier wanted to sign him on loan in  February but Chelsea rejected their loan proposal, as they wanted him to leave on a permanent basis.

Chelsea are ready to part ways with the 26 year old defender with price at the region of £5m at the end of his current loan deal at Turkish side Kasimpasa.

The strong defender will be fighting for a place in the Super Eagles for the World Cup in Russia after he was called up by Eagles coach Gernot Rohr for the upcoming friendlies against Poland and Serbia later these month.
