Mikel Obi Tianjin Teda suffers first defeat of the season

Super Eagles midfielder John Obi Mikel suffered the first defeat of the season as his side Tianjin Teda were defeated by Henan Jianye 1-0 in the Chinese Super League on Sunday.

The 30 year old midfielder was unable to prevent his side defeat as they stumbled to their first defeat of the season.

Henan Jianye took the lead in the 7th minute through Orlando Sá, scoring the only goal of the encounter.

Super Eagles will be banking on the experience of the midfielder and Skipper when they face Poland and Serbia in the upcoming friendlies later this month.
