Etebo Assist Not Enough To Save Las Palmas

Super Eagles energetic midfielder Ogbenekaro Etebo grabbed an assist in Las Palma's 2-1 loss to Celta Vigo.

The midfielder was in his usual self as his commanding display in midfield was rewarded with an assist though his team failed against Celta Vigo.

Erik Exposito opened scoring for Las Palmas in the 53rd minute with a good pass from Etebo. But their joy was short lived as Celta Vigo came back into the game in the 62nd minute through Johnny strike. With just two minutes to the end of the game, Pablo Hernandez gave Celts Vigo a well deserved victory.

Las Palmas are now winless in thier last five match as thier relegation battle continues, they now occupies 18th position on the log with just 20 points.
