Awoniyi handed three match ban in Belgium

Taiwo Awoniyi gets three match ban and 800 Euros fine. Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB), has handed Liverpool Loanee Taiwo Awoniyi a three match and was also fined 800 Euros (about N350,000).

The Nigerian International was shown a straight red card in a match between his Belgium side Royal Excel Mouscron against Lokeren last weekend.

Awoniyi was sent off in the 79th minute of the games after he elbowed Lokeran defender Arno Mousecour,  which led to the defender bleeding from the nose.

Royal Excel Mouscron will be without their joint top scorer in the League pending the time he serves his match ban.
