Super Six : Okpo-TWO Brace Wins NPFL Invitational Tournament For CHAN Eagles

Super Eagles of Nigeria were crowned the Champions of the Nigerian Professional Football League invitational Pre-Season Competition popularly known as Super Six after defeating a resilience MFM 3-2 on Sunday.

The CHAN 2018 bound Super Eagles team show why they were tagged favourite when Anthony Okpotu opens the score with a beautiful goal when he lob the onrushing Folarin on the dot of half time.

Okpotu who won the top scorer's award with Lobi Stars in the 2016/2017 season doubled the Advantage for the National team lead by Coach Salisu Yusuf with an unstoppable drive beyond the helpless Folarin in the 69th minute.

Okpotu's Lobi Stars strike partner Kingsley Eduwo in the 78th minute added the third for the Eagles profiting from a defensive mix-up by MFM.
However,the Olukoya showed great fighting spirits when they scored two late goals from Jonathan Zikiye in the 86th minute and Uwaga Chuka in the 90th minute that rattled the shambolic and tired Super Eagles defence.
