Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi : The Truth of the matter

This is from the first vice-president of the Nigeria Football Federation Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi:

"The truth is that we the leadership of the NFF while not being primarily responsible for intricate technical details such as are at the heart of this matter, must take full responsibility for it and as the President earlier stated, we certainly do take that responsibility along with whatever blame comes with it."

GAME ON.. ..

"We thank God that it does not, will not and indeed should not derail our World Cup journey."
WE DID OUR BEST NOT TO BLIP..

"This statement of absolute confidence is made possible because of the good job our team including the technical and competitions team at the NFF have done thus far despite this blip, in qualifying our dear country for the World Cup in style such that the deduction of 1point does not truncate the qualification."

A NOTE OF ASSURANCE ...

"I do assure you that as a responsible leadership we will thoroughly investigate this matter, punish anyone found culpable but more importantly see it as an opportunity to continue the change and improvement mantra already embarked upon by this board."

AUTHORITY TO APOLOGISE..

"I do have the authority of our President to apologise to Nigerians but to add that this set back only spurs us to get to greater heights"

HEAR OUR PLEA..

"Once again accept our heartfelt apologies."
