Gabonese referee Eric Arnaud Otogo Castane on Friday night awarded a controversial penalty to Algeria after Yacine Brahimi was marked by Nigeria right back Shehu Abdullahi.
Points to Note: The two players were struggling to gain the ball and Nigeria player Shehu Abdullahi fell off Yacine Brahimi in which Brahimi later gained the ball and was still standing.
Moreover, Brahimi was not expecting any penalty from his countenance but to the surprise of everyone a penalty was awarded to Algeria in which Brahimi grabbed the equaliser to Algeria.
The Question now is: Do you agree with the decision of the referee to have awarded a penalty to Algeria?
