Leicester City Sack Craig Shakespeare

Former Premier League Champions Leicester City has fired their manager Craig Shakespeare over poor run of results so far in this Premier League season.

Shakespeare was assistance to the Premier League winning manager Claudio Ranieri. He was appointed manager on the interim after Ranieri was shown the exit door last season and was confirmed manager thereafter.

He took Leicester City to the quarterfinal stage of the UEFA Champions League last season and also took them out of the relegation zone where they were languishing before he took over as manager.

Leicester City have been suffering from poor run of results since the beginning of this season despite bringing in new players, including Nigeria's Kelechi Iheanacho who was their biggest signing of the season, and the management who couldn't stomach it any longer gave the kick today's afternoon.

His last assignment was the Monday night match when Leicester City forced a 1-1 draw at the King Power against Tony Pulis West Bromwich Albion.

Leicester City Premier League form this season: Played - 8 Won - 1 Drawn - 3 Lost - 4 Position on the table - 18th (relegation zone)
