'Benni McCarthy' PSL Team Sign Obinna Nsofor

Cape Town City of South Africa have announced the signing of former Inter Milan and West Ham striker Victor Obinna.

The 30-year-old was a free agent after leaving German outfit Darmstadt 98 last season, where he only made two appearances.

Obinna has featured for the likes of Inter, West Ham, Chievo, Malaga and Lokomotiv Moscow.

City confirmed the news via their Twitter account on Tuesday evening.

"Cape Town City FC is excited to announce the signing of former @Inter and @WestHamUtd striker Victor Obinna!," City tweeted.

Obinna also boasts experience at international level, having made 46 appearnces for the Nigerian national side.

Obinna Nsofor is also an Olympic sivermedalist with the Nigerian U-23 national team in 2008.

He also played for Plateau United, Enyimba and Kwara United in Nigeria before going abroad.

South African football legend, Benedict Saul "Benni" McCarthy is the current coach of Cape town city.
