The Coach of ABS FC of Ilorin has been handed three match ultimatum following his side 2-4 loss to Sunshine Stars FC of Akure in Ilorin on Sunday. The management of ABS have expressed their displeasure over the home loss.
ABS with a winless run in their last four matches, lossing 2-0 to Shooting Stars FC in Ibadan and played a 1-1 draw with Kano Pillars FC in Ilorin.
ABS also lost 2-1 to MFM FC in Lagos and received the biggest shock at home last yesterday as they lost 2-4 to Sunshine Stars of Akure with goals from Sikiru Alimi, Ajibola Otegbeye, Abiodun Joseph and Ezekiel Thompson.
The 2-4 loss has moved the management of ABS into action issueing as statement through the Team's Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka giving the team head coach Henry Makinwa a three-match ultimatum or face sack.
The management of ABS will meet with the players, the supporters club and the technical crew on Monday to disscuss Sunday's defeat and way forward.
ABS next match will be against Rivers United on Sunday in Ilorin and Makinwa and his technical crew has been charged by the management to get a good result against Rivers United.
ABS are 16th on the NPFL log with just 10 matches to go and the management have also charged the team to improve on the position on the NPFL log to avoid relegation.
