Premier League team,Everton are reportedly eyeing Manchester City star Kelechi Iheanacho as a possible replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku, 24, looks set to leave Goodison Park after rejecting the most lucrative contract offer in the club's history earlier this year.
Speculations has it that Manchester United are ready to go to war with Chelsea for his signature.
And, according to The Sun , Everton boss Ronald Koeman is interested in signing Iheanacho, 20, as replacement for the Belgium star.
He is said to have grown frustrated at the Etihad with Gabriel Jesus, Nolito and Sergio Aguero all ahead of him in Pep Guardiola's pecking order.
The Nigeria international has made 19 Premier League appearances this season but only five of those have come as a starter. There are still four years left to run on his City contract after he penned fresh terms last summer.
The Sun suggest the Toffees are willing to part with around £20m to lure him to Merseyside.
An Etihad source reportedly said: “Everton have shown an interest in Kelechi, who has been frustrated with a lack of game-time this season."
“He is highly-rated here, but has not started a match since January 2nd where as I’m sure he would get lots of first-team action elsewhere."
“Pep is looking to bolster his ranks and spend a fair chunk of cash this coming transfer window and the club could be persuaded to sell should the right offer come in.”
West Ham are also considering a bid for Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho as they attempt to add pace to their squad. The Hammers are prioritising attacking players this summer.
Iheanacho’s opportunities at City have been limited under Pep Guardiola and although he has made 19 appearances for City this season, he has started only five matches. He has scored four goals and made three assists, despite completing only one full game.
The previous campaign, when Manuel Pellegrini was in charge, was more fruitful with Iheanacho scoring 14 goals in 35 games.
Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund are also reported to be interested in Iheanacho, with the added incentive of being able to offer Champions League football.
