Fulham 16-Year-Old Kid Sensation Kouassi Ryan Sessegnon

If you're good enough, you're old enough and that is the story of Fulham 16-year-old prodigy.

Kouassi Ryan Sessegnon (born 18 May 2000), known as
Ryan Sessegnon, is an English professional footballer who plays as a left back or left winger for Fulham. He has a twin brother Steven who currently plays in Fulham's academy. Sessegnon joined Fulham at the age of nine. On 9 August 2016, Sessegnon made his professional debut in a League Cup match against Leyton Orient aged 16 years and 81 days. On 16 August 2016 Sessegnon made his league debut in a match against Leeds United in a 1–1 draw. On 20th August, Sessegnon scored his first professional goal in a league match against Cardiff City, becoming the first professional footballer in the English leagues to have been born in the 2000s to score a goal in a first team game and the youngest player ever to have scored in a Championship match.

He was tested at left back but had to be moved further up because he was targeted as the weakness of the team based on his age and stature.

Rashford, Mbappe and co have done well but not at younger age like the cottager while Sessegnon is being tracked seriously by two clubs: Manchester City and Tottenham. Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola thinks Sessegnon can cut it in the Premier League and will even go on to become an England regular.
Guardiola will undoubtedly sign at least one full back this summer with the likes of Gael Clichy and Aleksandr Kolarov failing to impress the Spaniard. Benjamin Mendy, a powerful left back from Monaco, is also being linked to Manchester City.

Tottenham’s need for a left back is less obvious, with Danny Rose in such fine form. But Ben Davies has not always impressed when called upon this season.

A whole host of clubs have been linked with Sessegnon, including Liverpool, who will surely also sign a left back at the end of the season. The youngster has gone on to score six times for Fulham as they continue to strive for Premier League promotion and NPFL teams can borrow a leaf from his success story.
