Patson Daka Named Player of U-20 Afcon

Zambian striker Patson Daka has been named the player of the tournament at the just ended CAF Under-20 Africa of Nations.
And five Zambians have been named in the team of the tournament. Goalkeeper Mangani Banda, who was named the man of the match in the final is the best young goalkeeper on the continent. Skipper Solomon Sakala is part of a three man defence which comprises two Senegelese defenders while Fashion Sakala and Edward Chilufya are in a five man midfield. Fashion ended the tournament with 3 goals.

Chilufya was one of three players together with Patson and South Africa’s Luther Singh on four goals but the latter ended with the top scorer award thanks to the two assists he provided.

Patson and Singh are the twin strikers. Enock Mwepu and Prosper Chiluya made the bench.
