Former Nigeria International, Samson Siasia has applied for two top jobs in South Africa according to reports.The 49 year old who is Vacant after leading Nigeria U-23 National team to a Bronze medal outing at the Rio Olympics last year is aiming to replace Shakes Mashaba who was fired late last year by SAFA.
However, Mashaba is still contesting his dismissal from Bafana through his legal team.
Top Football Agent Nico Mbonani confirmed that Siasia’s CV has been sent to SAFA.
The agent confirmed that Siasia’s CV has also been forwarded to Pirates too, with the Buccaneers still under the tutelage of Augusto Palacios on interim basis.
The club is believed to be working on finding the right man to fill the position left by Muhsin Ertugral, who resigned from the club in November last year.
Samson Siasia has coached Nigeria to a silver medal in Beijing in 2008,was the winning coach of the African U23 Nations Cup in 2015,won the 2005 African Youths Championship,World Youths Championship Runner-Up in 2005 but he failed to deliver for the Super Eagles in 2011.
Recall that Late Amodu Shuaibu Coach the Bucs in the past and Late Stephen Keshi was linked with the Pirates Job last year.
