The Homebased Super Eagles of Nigeria will face either Togo or Benin Republic to secure a place in Kenya 2018 after a draw conducted by Caf over the weekend.
The Hawks of Togo will square up with Squirrels of Benin in the preliminary round to be able to face Nigeria in the last Qualifying round.
Friday’s draw was done according to the zonal representation of the national associations affiliated to CAF, with the teams spread out into six zones; Northern, West A, West B, Central, Central-East, and Southern.
"We have been drawn to face winner of Togo vs Benin Rep for place in Kenya 2018 CHAN. 2 legged qualifiers to hold between August 11-20, 2017."

Super Eagles failed to get past the group stage of the last edition held in Rwanda.
Meanwhile,South Africa will take on Botswana in July in the opening round of qualifiers for the 2018 African Nations Championship to be played in Kenya.
Botswana will host the first leg on the weekend of July 15/16, with the return in South African a week later.
If they advance past that stage they will face the winner of the tie between Swaziland and Zambia in September for a place in the continental finals while Ghana will face Burkina Faso in August.
