Rivers Angels and Ifeanyi Ubah FC are Champions

FC Ifeanyi Ubah are 2016 Federations Cup winner after beating Nasarawa United 5-4 on Penalties after a Goalless encounter in 90 minutes.

The match was tough for the two teams due to lack of match fitness as the NPFL is on break and With the fact that Majority of Ifeanyi Ubah Star players were not eligible to play since they are Cup tied after joining the Club at the end of the first stanza of the just concluded seas on.

Ifeanyi Ubah will now be representing Nigeria on the Continent as they will be Competing in the Caf Confederations Cup which TP Mazembe won also on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Rivers Angels are yet again the Champions of Women's Federations Cup after they defeated Bayelsa Queens 5-3 on penalties after playing 1-1 in regulation time with goals from Rofiats Sule for Bayelsa Queens while Oshinachi Ohale scored the equaliser from a delicious freekick that left Goalkeeper Alaba Jonathan scrambling.


The Trophies presentation was however not colourful due to the Fans who all entered the pitch to rejoice with the Victors.
