Opposition Watch : Zambia Name Ten Foreign Based Stars for the Indomitable Lions

Faz and Coach of Chipopolo of Zambia, Wedson Nyirenda have named ten players plying their trades outside Zambia in the squad that will play Cameroun in the 2018 Russia World Cup qualifier match with Turkey based striker Evans Kangwa making a return.
Wada Wada has stuck to the foreign based legion that he worked with in the game against Nigeria with only Kangwa replacing Kaizer Chiefs striker Lewis Macha.
Kangwa who plays for Gaziantespor in Turkey has this season scored 2 goals in 5 appearances for his club.
He only returned to action over the past weekend after a 4 week injury lay off to hep his club win 3 – 1 over Osmanlispor in a game he comleted 65 minutes.
The 24 year old last played for Zambia 12 months ago when Zambia defeated Sudan 2 – 0 in a World Cup qualifier.
He will be the youngest of the strikers available for selection for the game in Zambia’s aging strike force as he will compete for a starting place with Collins Mbesuma (32), Winstone Kalengo (31), Jackson Mwanza (29) and Rogers Kola (27).
Other foreign based called inlcude:
Kennedy Mweene, Kabaso Chongo, Rainford Kalaba, Nathan Sinkala, Stopilla Sunzu, Chisamba Lungu, Collins Mbesuma, Winstone Kalengo and Roger Kola.
Local Chipolopolo players are currently in camp and will play Zimabwe on Saturday and Uganda on 8th November in international friendly matches.

There is an indication that Zambia will Camp in West Africa as part of preparation for the November 12 clash with Cameroon as they are currently sitting at the bottom of the log in Group B of Caf zone of Russia 2018 Qualifier.
