Jordan Back Banyana

SAFA President, Dr Danny Jordaan has sent his best wishes to Banyana Banyana team ahead of today’s titanic clash with Nigeria.

Banyana Banyana face the Super Falcons in a crucial semi-final of the CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Limbe, Cameroon this evening.
The winner of the clash will meet either Ghana or hosts Cameroon, who also contest the other semifinal in Yaounde this evening, in the final on Saturday.
"I want to wish Banyana Banyana all the best against Nigeria tonight," said Jordaan.
"Our girls have been among the most consistent performers within our national teams and having qualified for the past two editions of the Olympic Games, we are confident they have the measure of Nigeria.
"While Banyana Banyana have been a regular feature among the last four and finalists, this time they got into the penultimate stage in convincing fashion having demolished Egypt 5-0."
The SAFA President reiterated his belief that, on their day, Banyana Banyana could compete with the best in the world as they have shown against the likes of the USA, Sweden and Brazil, among others.
