Opposition Watch : Zambia,Nine steps away from worst ever Fifa Ranking

According to a publication by Zambian Soccer Magazine,ZAMBIA has continued dropping on the FIFA rankings with just nine steps away from reaching their worst ever ranking.
According to the latest ranking released last week, Chipolopolo slipped from 90th to 92nd in the world following their 2-1 home loss to Nigeria on October 9 in the Group B 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The country’s lowest ranking was in February 2011 when they fell from 81 to 101 in the World before making real corrections by winning the Afcon a year later.
The country may continue its downfall if they fail to beat Cameroon in next month’s World Cup qualifiers.
The Indomitable Lions, who will host the Chipolopolo next month, are ranked 59th globally, while other Group B opponents in the World Cup qualifiers, Desert Foxes of Algeria and Super Eagles of Nigeria, are 35th and 60th respectively.
Ivory Coast are top in Africa with Senegal , Algeria, Tunisia, Ghana, Egypt Congo DR, Congo , Mali and Cameroon completing the top 10 in rankings in Africa.
Zambia will be visiting Cameroon in Yaoundé next month for Match day two of Russia 2018 qualifiers and they are currently last on the log with no point.
