It's almost official, Belgian Georges Leekens is the new coach of the Algeria national team.
The information was given by National Radio and the string Ennahar on Wednesday at 9 pm. The 67-year old Belgian is expected today in Algiers, on the margins of the federal office.
The 67year old has coached Belgium twice(1997-1999 and 2010-2012).he also coached Tunisia and Algeria and Marc Wilmots replaced him after he failed to qualify Belgium for Euro 2012.
Georges Leekens is the cousin of Louis Leekens, who was Belgian National Champion of gymnastics in 1966 and his first task will be to name the Squad that he will lead to Uyo to face Nigeria next month.
