Opposition Watch : Marc Wilmots set to Coach Algeria

An agreement in principle is found between Marc Wilmots and the Algerian Football Federation, that the former coach of the "Red Devils" of Belgium to come and coach the Desert Foxes of Algeria.
According to a beIN Sports Reporter, the signing of the contract would take place today around noon in Brussels.
Marc Wilmots, 47, led the talented belgium at the last World Cup in  Brazil.He was in the same group as the Algeria which he led begium to defeats 2-1, before being eliminated in the quarterfinals by Argentina..
At Euro 2016,Belgium, always among the Favorites, were eliminated in the quarter final to the General surprise by Wales, 3-1..

As the head of the Belgium, Wilmots presents a review of 51 matches (34 wins, 8 draws, 9 losses), and he coached them from 2012 to 2016.After having been Assistant to Dick Advoocaat and Gorges Leekens for the "Red Devils"
Before that, he was coach of Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga in 2003 and Sint-Truiden in Belgium in 2004/2005.

Meanwhile, Algeria are now placed in third position in Africa and 35 in the World following their 1-1 draw with Cameroon 59th in the World while Zambia are 94th on the Fifa Ranking where Super Eagles Currently holds 60th position and 11th in Africa.
